My Top Ten Books: 2008 Edition

Without further ado (without, actually, any ado at all), here are my Top Ten Books of 2008. Some of these were published before 2008; some of them won’t be published until 2009. But I read ’em in ’08, so that’s when they count for me. And since the New Year is just a couple of hours away, it doesn’t look like anything is going to come along and shake up the list.

1. TWILIGHT by William Gay
2. DUMA KEY by Stephen King
3. BALTIMORE, OR, THE STEADFAST TIN SOLDIER AND THE VAMPIRE
by Christopher Golden and Mike Mignola
4. HELLBOY: EMERALD HELL by Tom Piccirilli
5. THE COLD SPOT by Tom Piccirilli
6. MONEY SHOT by Christa Faust
7. INTO THE WILD by Jon Krakauer
8. WE HAVE ALWAYS LIVED IN THE CASTLE by Shirley Jackson
9. NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN by Cormac McCarthy
10. THE GRAVEYARD BOOK by Neil Gaiman

Hope you read some good books this year – if you’d like to share, leave me a list in the comments section. I’m always looking for something new to read.

Happy New Year!
